MekAMove LLC – Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to guest-initiated booking cancellations on MekAMove. Refund eligibility depends on the booking status, payment status, trip type, and how far in advance the cancellation is made.
Refund Policy — At a glance
Refund requests are created only for eligible paid bookings. The actual refund amount depends on whether the booking is one-way or round-trip, and on the time remaining before the relevant scheduled trip time.
One-way / full trip
>24h = 3% fee
One-way / full trip
≤24h = 10% fee

≥12h = 5%, <12h = 15%

How refund handling works
- 1Cancel bookingThe guest submits a cancellation with a reason and optional comment.
- 2Eligibility checkThe system checks booking status, payment status, trip type, and timing.
- 3Refund request createdIf eligible, a pending refund request is recorded with the calculated amount.
A successful cancellation updates the booking to Cancelled. If the booking is refund-eligible, a refund request is recorded as Pending.

Fees & Deductions
- • One-way / full-trip cancellations: more than 24h = 3% fee.
- • One-way / full-trip cancellations: 24h or less = 10% fee.
- • Round-trip second leg: 12h or more = 10% fee.
- • Round-trip second leg: less than 12h = 15% fee.
Not Eligible for Refund Request
- • Bookings already marked Completed.
- • Bookings already marked Cancelled.
- • Bookings that are not in an eligible status.
- • Bookings that are not paid.
- • Fully completed round trips.
Partial Refunds
For round trips where the first leg is already completed and the second leg has not yet been completed, the refund calculation applies only to the remaining return fare.
